Kindergarten Orientation Thursday, August 29⋅10:30 – 11:30am

Daily Parent Pick Up 2024-2025 Dear Union Valley Families, Any parents or guardians who choose to pick up their child(ren) EVERYDAY after school for the 2024-2025 school year should complete the Google Form attached here. Unless this form is submitted, your child will be sent home on the bus on the first day of school. Requests for DAILY student pick up DO NOT carry over from year to year. In order for us to plan for the safe and orderly dismissal of our 500+ students, we kindly request that this google form be submitted no later than August 22nd. If your child will be riding the bus home from school each day, you do not need to complete this form. With the completion of the form, you will receive a “hands-free” placard (only given for everyday pick up). The placards will be available for pick up on Wednesday, September 4th between 1:00-2:00 in the Union Valley lobby. Please bring your driver's license as identification. If you cannot pick up your placard, it will be available at dismissal on the first day of school. Any time a student is going to be picked up from school that is not already on everyday pick up, you will need to communicate in advance with the school by writing a note. Please inform the office of any change to your child’s transportation home no later than 2:15 pm. As a reminder, school will dismiss at 12:50 on Friday, September 6th for our K-5 students. For the first day of school, please notify the school NO LATER than 10 am if you plan on picking up your child who is not daily pick up. Dear Parents/Guardians: We are excited to welcome you to Union Valley Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year. We have been busy getting ready for your return. Welcome letters are being mailed out from our office today, Wednesday, August 14, 2024. This will include your child’s teacher assignment. It takes a lot of time and effort to place students in classrooms. It is a joint effort between teachers, counselor, and administrators. There will be NO CHANGES to classroom assignments at this point in the planning process. We look forward to welcoming your children back to school on Friday, September 6th. This is a ½ day and school will dismiss at 12:50 p.m. Please mark your calendars for Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m. We are looking forward to an exciting, enriching, and fun-filled school year!
