This is a reminder that we will be facilitating the JWL DINO-MITE Summer Reading Program and activities at the JWL Library on July 14, 21 and 28. Please use the Sign-Up Genius link to secure a spot as they are limited. The Sign-Up Genius link was sent to your email. Please note that we are requesting that a parent or guardian stay with their child/children during the scheduled activities. The flyer was also forwarded to your email as well.

1. Tomorrow is the JWL Field Day. We ask that all students wear sneakers and bring a water bottle if needed as they will be outside most of the day.
2. The last three days of school are 1/2 Days for all students (June 16, 17, and 18).
3. Thursday, June 18 is the last day of school for all students.

The Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser and Kickball takes place tomorrow. Please see the attached flyer. If you would like, you can send your children to school with a beach towel to sit on while they watch the game. This event is for staff and students only.
Book Fair-The JWL Spring Discovery Book Fair begins next week. Please see below for the volunteer sign up information and flyer.

I hope all is well. I just wanted to remind everyone of a few things and also share the Title 1 JWL Reading Night Information:
1. Parent Pickup will resume at the normal locations on the recess field starting today.
2. Thursday, February 19 is the 100th Day of School. Everyone is asked to wear 80s attire to celebrate the 80 Days that are left. Evening Winter Conferences take place on Thursday as well.
3. Friday (2/20/26) is a ½ Day for all students due to Winter Report Card conferences.
4. Children’s author Rachelle Burk will be visiting JWL for our Title 1 Reading Night on March 4. Please see the attached flyer. More information is forthcoming. JWL Title 1 Night Flyer 3-4-26

Hello JWL 5th Grade Families,
I hope all is well. I just wanted to remind everyone that the 5th Grade "Always Changing" lesson will take place tomorrow (February 19). Since this is a part of the Health Curriculum, all students will participate in this lesson unless we receive the signed and returned opt out letter from the parent/guardian.
