Chews Elementary

This past week, our Chews Cheetahs participated in a Kindness Challenge, capping off February's "Random Acts of Kindness" month. Throughout February, students were challenged to get caught being kind, earning a link in our kindness chain for each act. Because they surpassed the goal of 250 acts of kindness, students were rewarded with an event during which they passed the "heart," hot potato style; worked with a building administrator to fill a bucket of "warm and fuzzies" without using their hands; and finally competed against an administrator to "shake it 'til you make it," emptying one bottle of beads into another. Somehow, students were victorious every time! A great day was had by all! Even though February is over, please continue to encourage your kiddos to show kindness to others.
