Chews Elementary

On Friday, March 14th, our SRO, Ptl. Matt Adomanis, as well as several officers from Gloucester Township and beyond, visited Chews School to complete the last step in their certification as LEAD Instructors. LEAD, or Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence is a program intended to educate students and help build the confidence they need to make healthy, positive choices. Officers from as far away as the Poconos were welcomed into our 4th grade classrooms where they taught their first lesson from the LEAD Instructor Certification Course. The material was well received by our students, and our special guests stuck around to give our bus riders a high-five send off for the weekend!
