Dear Blackwood Elementary School Families,

We are aware that an issue existed in our community near our school that required the water to the school and neighborhood to be shut-off over the weekend. The aftermath of this weekend event has temporarily impacted the quality of water flowing into our building. In response to this issue, our Facilities Department has been notified and are working with the utility company to rectify these conditions. Currently, our school has active water flow, and is working on flushing the water through the system. As a precaution we have instructed all students and staff to not drink the water from the fountains. The district is providing bottled water for our students to have clean drinking water. Our restroom facilities are operational. We will continue to update you on the status of our water. Thank you for your continued support.
