Welcome to Mullen Middle School…where we do whatever it takes to ensure the success of every student in our school! Welcome to the new school year. We are all looking forward to guiding our young students in meeting with success while engaging in a world class education! Be sure to check this site for important dates and other information throughout the school year. Information is also posted on the Homepage of the Parent Portal for your convenience.

Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! We are looking forward to another exciting year providing our students with an exceptional educational experience. If you have any questions or concerns prior to the beginning of the school year, please feel free to contact us so we can be proactive in meeting your child’s educational needs.

I encourage everyone to get involved with our Home & School Council. The HSC does so much to support and enrich our students’ educational opportunities and we are confident that everybody has something they can contribute to make our organization even stronger. Contact the school for additional information.

I would also like to welcome Mr. Theodore Otten to the administrative team at Mullen School. Mr. Otten has served the past five years as an Assistant Principal at the C.W. Lewis Middle School and will bring to us a great deal of experience to help our school continue to improve as we strive for excellence. Mr. Otten will oversee academics and discipline for our 7th grade students. We are thrilled to have him as part of our team.

Mr. Ceaser will continue to lead academics and discipline for the 6th grade students. He is beginning his 8th year as an assistant principal at Mullen School and works hard to be sure all 6th grade students have a smooth and welcoming transition to middle school.

The administrative team at Mullen School maintains an open door policy. Please contact us with any concerns about our school and/or your child’s education. We encourage you to call ahead to avoid having to wait to see us, but you are welcome anytime to address your concerns.

Specific core supply lists will be available at Open Houses. General supplies that you can count on all students needing include:

2-3 marble composition books
2-3 one inch binders
Folders
Pencils
Pens

If at anytime you need to discuss the needs of your child, feel free to call or stop in and we will make every attempt to accommodate your needs to help ensure a great school year for your child.
