Real Time Point of Sale
Real Time Point of Sale

The school cafeteria utilizes a computerized point of sale system as our “cash register”. The meal status of a student is confidential and all food allergies are noted for the cashier to monitor.

In the middle school, a student will enter their 5 digit school ID number into a keypad once they reach the cashier. In our elementary schools the students are given an ID card with a bar code for the cashier to scan when they buy lunch or snacks.

Parents are encouraged to put money on account and can view the balance and purchases via the parent portal in Realtime on our website.

Checks should be made payable to GTPS Food Services, please write the student’s name on the memo line.
